10 Practical Lessons from Dad

In honor of Father's Day, I decided to compose a list of practical lessons I learned from my dad:
  1. If you can do something yourself, do it.
  2. Always clean the kitchen after dinner.
  3. Wash your own car rather than go to a car wash.
  4. Don't be late.
  5. Don't quit, even if the going is tough.
  6. Try your hardest and earn your results.
  7. Know what is going on in the world.
  8. Understand politics.
  9. Be financially secure.
  10. Use common sense.
Thanks Dad...and to all the dads out there (especially my wonderful husband) Happy Father's Day!!
